Can you believe I'm in Kkkk-Katmandu. I've been here a few days and have seen lots of things different to what we see at home. There are cows in the street and the butcher shops have the meat out on the street too. The people are very friendly and they think I'm a Tibetan. They can't work out what a brown boy with long black hair is doing with a couple of white people.
I love shopping! I go to the money change and turn $20 into 1640 rupees. I feel like a rich man!
Then I go and buy little bits and pieces to take home. So far I've bought twelve bracelets, three sets of prayer beads, a prayer wheel, a shawl and other bits and pieces.
Tomorrow we go up into the Himalayas trekking - I'll be gone for a week so won't be able to write on my blog.
Having a great time - seeing lots of interesting things - oh - and Miss Sheridan, I'm doing some homework as well.
Hope everyone good at home. See you soon. Rangi
